Free, one-on-one help for your business is coming to The Valley.
The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) of the Capital Region is starting Monday office hours to help local business owners find funding, build a plan, and get the word out. Join us November 12 to meet the people behind it, ask questions, and find out how they can help with what you’re working on.
Our speaker, Tim Suprise, co-founded Arcadia Brewing Company and helped grow it to more than 100 team members at its peak. He’s been through the work of building a business. Now he’s putting that experience to work helping other founders across the Capital Region. He also happens to have a little bit of a love affair with Washington County.
If you’re running a business, trying to grow one, or have an idea you’ve been meaning to do something with, come out. Bring your questions. We’ll spend part of the evening working through real challenges with the room so you can get a taste of the type of advice you could expect right in your back yard.

- Who the SBDC is and why they’re bringing office hours to our area.
- What they can help with, and where their help stops.
